The fact that the earth is not our definitive home explains why, as followers of Jesus, we experience difficulties, afflictions and rejections in this world. This also explains why some of God’s promises do not seem to have been fulfilled, some prayers seem unanswered and some situations seem unfair. This is not the end of the story.
To prevent us from becoming too attached to the earth, God allows us to feel a substantial amount of discontent and displeasure in life, longings that will never be satisfied from this side of eternity. We are not completely happy because we were not meant to be! The earth is not our final home; we were bred for something much better.
A fish would never be happy living on land because it was made to live in the water. An eagle could never be content if he were not allowed to fly. You will never feel fully satisfied on earth because it was made for something more. You will have happy times here, but nothing compared to what God has planned for you.
Realizing that life on earth is only a temporary assignment would completely change their values. Eternal values, not temporary ones, would become determining factors in their decisions. “Everything that is not eternal is eternally useless.” The Bible says: Thus we fix our eyes, not on what is seen, but on what is not seen, for what is seen is transient, but what is not seen is eternal.
It is a fatal mistake to assume that God’s goal for your life is material prosperity or popular success, as determined by the world. Life in abundance has no relation to material abundance, and fidelity to God does not guarantee career success or even ministry, even if everyone can achieve it. Never concentrate your efforts on temporary crowns, and you will succeed in everything you do by the grace and favor of our Father and Lord Jesus Christ.

You have been Redeemed

A Christian is redeemed. “Knowing that it was not by corruptible things, such as silver or gold, that you were rescued from your futile procedure, which your fathers bequeathed to you, but by precious blood, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot” (1 Peter 1: 18-19) . The word “redeemed” (redeemed) refers to a purchase being made, a price being paid. For a Christian to lose his salvation, God Himself would have to revoke His purchase for which He paid with the precious blood of Christ.

Every believer is called to be a conqueror, and this implies making each member a priest, so that all are willing to lead a small group by multiplying it once in the year. The church is a community that serves God with its gifts in the family, school, work, and church, that is, every believer is called to service. The church is composed and built by disciples. We do not recruit members, but we make disciples who will be agents of transformation and conquest of our generation to God. Wherever they are, there will be a church working and fulfilling the purpose of expanding the Kingdom of God.

You have been Justified in Christ Jesus
A Christian is justified. “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” (Romans 5: 1). “Justify” means “to declare fair.” Everyone who receives Jesus as Savior is “declared righteous” by God. For a Christian to lose salvation, God would have to return with His word and “un-declare” what He had previously declared.

The LORD created all things for his own purposes. Proverbs 16: 4;

All this is for Him.
The ultimate goal of the universe is to demonstrate the glory of God. That is the reason for everything that exists, including you. God did all this for His glory. Were it not for the glory of God, there would be nothing.
What is the glory of God? The glory of God is what he is. It is the essence of its nature, the weight of its importance, the brilliance of its splendor, the demonstration of its power and the environment of its presence. The glory of God is the expression of his goodness and of all his other intrinsic and eternal qualities.
Where is the glory of God? Just look around. Everything that was created by God reflects its glory in some way. We see this everywhere: from the smallest microscopic life form to the Milky Way; from sunsets and stars to storms and seasons. Creation makes known the glory of our Creator. In nature, we learn that God is powerful, appreciates variety, loves beauty and is organized, wise and creative. The Bible says that the heavens declare the glory of God.
Throughout history, God has revealed his glory to people in different environments. He revealed it initially in the garden of Eden, after that to Moses, in the Tabernacle, in the Temple, through Jesus and now through the church. It was described as a consuming fire, a cloud, a thunder, a smoke, and a bright light. In heaven, the glory of God provides all the necessary light. The Bible says: The city does not need sun or moon to shine on it, for the glory of God illuminates it ..
The glory of God is best observed in Jesus Christ. He, the Light of the world, clarifies the nature of God. Thanks to Jesus, we are no longer ignorant of who God really is. The Bible says, “The Son is the brightness of the glory of God.” 5 Jesus came to earth so that we could fully understand the glory of God. He who is the Word became flesh and lived among us. We have seen his glory […] full of grace and truth.
